Strawberry Matcha Latte

Ingredients (for 1 serving):

  • 2 tsp matcha powder (adjust to taste)
  • 2-3 tsp strawberry purée or strawberry jam (if the jam is firm, thin it out beforehand with a little warm water)
  • 15 ml hot water
  • 150 ml milk
  • Ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. Put the matcha powder and hot water in a cup or milk jug and whisk well with a milk frother until no lumps remain at the bottom.
  2. Add the strawberry purée or strawberry jam to a glass.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Add the milk.
  5. Gently pour the whisked matcha over the top.
    • For a gradient effect: use 30 ml hot water for the matcha and slowly pour it over the ice and milk.
